I have eaten at many luxury steakhouses in the World. None of them compares to Alexanders Steakhouse. Sometimes I wish that I never dined at Alexander’s Steakhouse. Now every time I dine at Steakhouses I keep thinking about Alexander’s Steakhouse experience.  I shouldn’t even call it a steakhouse. I’m calling it a haven for Gastronomy. In fact if I was to die tomorrow my last dish would be at Alexander’s Steakhouse.


Urban, Sleek Modern American Steakhouse with Japanese influences is the perfect restaurant to close deals, celebrate milestones or simply to savor a juicy steak.



San Francisco now shines even brighter in the dining universe. San Francisco is know for international foods and seafood. Now we have a king in the steak industry. Alexander’s Steakhouse without a doubt is one of the top steakhouses in the U.S.

EXECUTIVE CHEF – Marc Zimmerman culinary philosophy is rooted in seeking out the highest quality and most consistent products in the world. High quality meats and produce are a key element of his passion for delivering a memorable culinary experience. He is currently working with Winkler Farm in Windsor, CA and their wonderful Mangalitsa pigs, which are raised feral and butchered from whole in their kitchen. Chef Zimmerman will continue to focus on consistency, creativity, and furthering the development of his style and craft.


Our Chic Enticing Eats heard about the hype. She has eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world. They hype wasn’t effecting her before she walked in the door. She was seated promptly at the Chef Table.

Each dish comes out like an Art Piece!

I kicked it off with Kumamoto Oysters, I also had Duck Soup that almost made me lick the bowl.

One set’s Alexander Steakhouse from the competition is the ribeye. It was perhaps one of the best ribeye I’ve had to date. The steak knife was sharp- but I never had a piece of meat melt at the touch of the knife. Tender and cooked to perfection, the ribeye at Alexander’s Steakhouse was simply phenomenal.

The other steak I had was a medium-rare Filet Mignon. Normally you can tell a small difference in the meat tasting Alexanders cooked it all with a Chic Touch and make it just like tasting the best great wine.

The wine philosophy at Alexander’s Steakhouse is to provide exciting and interesting wines while holding true to the idea of a classic American steakhouse. We search out artisan wineries that we feel offer the very best quality for our guests. Many of the wines on the list might be new to our guests but through interaction with our staff we hope to be able to offer a truly great food and wine dining experience. We provide an opportunity to step outside the classic range of steakhouse fare and explore some truly magnificent possibilities in pairing wine with cuisine.

The man behind the Wine at Alexander’s Steakhouse David Meneses. David’s impressive resume includes stints at Azul in the Mandarin Oriental in Miami and Michy’s in South Florida, wine rep for Bertin Henri Selections & Angles Share Wines and an adventurous time as Head Chef on a private yacht. These experiences gave him a foundation to move forward and he found himself at the Fountainbleu, Miami Beach as Head Sommelier at the world-class restaurant group Hakkasan. While overseeing the wine program at Hakkasan, Meneses’ contributions to their wine list gained significant recognition and earned the restaurant a place in Wine Enthusiast’s “Top 100 Wine Lists in the Nation” and a Best of Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator. Discovering that his true passion was rooted in wine, he moved on to work under Master Sommelier Laura DePasquale at Stacole Fine Wines before being recruited by the SLS in Miami Beach. 

Last year, David decided to fulfill his dream of living and working in San Francisco and made the jump westward. Florida’s loss is definitely our gain. He worked at Michael Mina while waiting for the perfect opportunity and we are thrilled to welcome him into the Alexander’s Steakhouse family.
